Finding a Broadband Connection on Vacation

Vacation can be a wonderful time to get away from home, experience new things and relax with family and friends. For the average person who spends a lot of time online though, it can be a trying time because, they can’t get online. Thankfully there are a wide variety of places to find a cheap broadband connection even while on vacation.

Restaurants

Depending on where you’re vacationing there should be at least one restaurant that offers a broadband internet connection. Some of the most common franchise restaurants that offer broadband internet connection are: Subway, McDonalds, Starbucks and Denny’s.

Hotels

The hotel that you’re staying in should offer a broadband connection. You most likely will have to pay an extra $2 to $3 per day for the use of their broadband but it’s worth it and will save you the hassle of having to go search for a connection.

Libraries

One of the easiest places to find a broadband connection in any town is the public library. What’s best of all about a public library broadband connection is that it’s free. To find the library for the town that you’re staying in, ask a local or look in their local Yellow Page directory.

Department Stores

Last of all, another great way to find a broadband connection is by visiting a major department store like Walmart or Fred Meyer. Many “big box” chain stores offer free broadband to their consumers.

Looking for a Vacation with Betting Action?

Since most of us only get one vacation a year (two if we’re lucky or if we plan well), it makes sense to look at the “want” factor when developing our plans. Sure, it would be really cool to see the Eiffel Tower… But do you really want to? Some people don’t want to do anything but sleep away their down time. No harm in that.

Shirley, You Can’t Be Serious

If that seems like a cavalier attitude, then logic prevails, since a vacation should be the most cavalier of times. This is what has made Las Vegas such a popular destination, and what has sent people pouring into casinos wherever they have opened their doors. You can have a great time at Disney, but you stand zero chance of going back with more money than you brought.

The Market Speaks (Loudly and Clearly)

Betting action has become the target of more and more vacations as gaming has increased over the years. From Jai Alai to horseracing to super bowl betting, Florida’s gaming industry has expanded – not because more people are going to Florida, but because the ones that are there find themselves attracted to sportsbooks, casinos and such.

Casinos also tend to offer online discounts for vacation packages as supply rushes forward to embrace demand. Even those Caribbean cruises now include stays at hotels where gaming (and sports betting) is part of the attraction. A lucky few will come home with their vacation paid for. Most of the rest will still come back with smiles on thier faces, if not cash in their pockets.
